The tiny monkey clung to a low branch, its frail body trembling with weakness. Its mother sat only a few feet away, calm and distant, as if the cries of her baby meant nothing. Normally, a mother monkey would cradle her young, feeding and protecting it with fierce devotion. But this time was different. She refused to nurse her baby, turning her back each time it reached out in desperation.
Days passed, and the baby grew weaker. Hunger gnawed at its small body, leaving it with barely enough strength to move. With no milk to sustain it, the little monkey began sucking its own finger, a fragile attempt to ease the pain in its stomach. Its large, sorrowful eyes searched for comfort, but none came.
The forest around them remained indifferent. Leaves rustled, birds called, and life continued as usual. Yet for this baby monkey, each moment was a quiet struggle to survive. It tried to inch closer to its mother, hoping instinct might change her mind, but she pulled away again, unmoved.
Despite the harsh reality, something remarkable began to emerge. The baby monkey, though weak, refused to give up entirely. It started to observe its surroundings more closely, watching other monkeys eat फल and leaves. Slowly, with unsteady hands, it attempted to mimic them.
