In the middle of a bright and cheerful jungle lived four playful monkeys: baby Lily, curious Leo, gentle Rainbow, and caring Monkey Libby. Every day, they explored the trees, played hide and seek, and laughed until the sun went down.
One sunny afternoon, Lily spotted a shiny butterfly fluttering by. Giggling with excitement, she followed it deeper into the jungle. But as she ran, her tiny foot slipped on a wet leaf. “Ouch!” she cried, falling softly to the ground.
Lily sat still, holding her leg. It didn’t hurt too badly, but she was scared and didn’t know how to get back.
Back at the tree, Leo looked around. “Where’s Lily?” he asked.
“She followed a butterfly!” said Rainbow.
“Oh no!” Libby gasped. “Let’s find her!”
The three monkeys rushed through the trees, calling her name. Finally, they found baby Lily sitting alone, looking sad and afraid.
“Poor baby Lily!” said Rainbow as they hugged her gently.
Libby checked her leg. “It’s just a small bump,” she said, kissing her forehead. “You’ll be okay.”
Leo gave her a flower, and Rainbow held her hand. Slowly, Lily smiled again.
Just then, a rainbow appeared in the sky. The four friends sat together, watching the colors stretch across the jungle.
“I was scared,” Lily whispered.
“But we’re always here for you,” Libby replied.
Lily hugged them tight. “I love you all.”
And from that day on, Lily knew that even when things go wrong, love and friendship would always make everything better.
