In the warm, green jungle, little monkey Bon was having a fun day. He swung from trees, rolled in leaves, and played hide-and-seek with his friends. But after all the fun, Bon started to feel… strange.
“Hmm…” he mumbled, scratching his arm. Then his belly. Then his back.
“I’m so itchy!” Bon shouted, jumping up and down.
He rubbed against a tree, rolled in the grass, and even tried flapping his arms like a bird—but nothing helped.
Bon ran to his father, who was resting nearby under a big banana tree. “Papa!” Bon cried. “I’m itchy all over! I think I’m turning into a scratchy monkey!”
Papa monkey laughed gently and gave Bon a hug. “Let me guess—you rolled in those big leaf piles again, didn’t you?”
Bon nodded. “And I climbed the dusty rocks… and I rolled in the mud too.”
Papa smiled. “Sounds like someone needs a bath!”
Bon’s eyes lit up. “Yes! A clean, bubbly jungle bath!”
Together, they walked to the stream, where the water sparkled under the sun. Papa monkey scooped some warm water and gently scrubbed Bon’s fur with soft jungle leaves. He hummed a happy tune while Bon giggled and splashed.
“Ahhh,” Bon sighed. “No more itchies!”
Once he was all clean, Papa wrapped Bon in a cozy leaf towel. “There you go, my little monkey—good as new.”
Bon gave his father a big hug. “Thanks, Papa. You give the best baths ever!”
And from then on, Bon remembered: jungle fun is great—but jungle baths are even better when Papa is there to help.
